Team 1533 - Triple Strange
Welcome to the Early College at Guilford's FIRST Robotics Team's website! We are in our fourth year and having a blast. Our team recently competed in the Peachtree Regional and was honored to receive the "Engineering Inspiration Award." As a result, we are advancing to the National Championships in Atlanta, Georgia, April 17-19, 2008. Come visit us in our pit area and cheer us on! Solid Works Tip: Our team found that we saved lots of time and money by drawing up our design in SolidWorks before beginning any construction. Suggestion: use the 'mass properties' feature to accurately track the overall weight of the robot. Be sure to include all of the little parts such as bolts, nuts, shaft collars, chain, etc... The little stuff adds up fast!
